On a fall walk with my art friends, we collected some Osage Orange’s. After close-up examination, I found natures beauty in the form of color and sensuous lines.  My Bits and Piece format gave me an outlet to create my Osage series. Now I have left a collection of Osage Oranges out in the weather to observe their transformation of color and shape.

One day I picked up a cantaloupe and for the first time I saw the lines, positive and negative space.
So taking the fragment series format I took a very small portion this design and enlarge it.
Unlike the Osage were I am using the traditional colors, the cantaloupe series I am experimenting with color combinations.
